Tenimenti Civa debuts at Vinitaly 2022, presenting the company’s top wines

It will be a particularly important Vinitaly for Tenimenti Civa, which debuts at the 54th edition of the event, scheduled to run from 10 to 13 April in Verona, presenting its flagship wines.

Leading the way will be the Vigneto Bellazoia labels, and in particular the Ribolla Gialla, the winery’s standard bearer, an outstanding white with dense yet never overbearing texture, subtle hints of appley fruit and delicate floral nuances, also loved for its rich palate, underpinned by attractive acidity.

Connoisseurs of sparkling wines will have a chance to taste wines from the Collezione Privata, which display a gracefully subtle balance between freshness, richness of flavour and structure. Visitors can also enjoy the still wines of the Linea Classica – some based on traditional varieties, and others on French cultivars with a long tradition in Friuli – and appreciate the elegance of our Ronc Zoiis sparkling wines.

Vinitaly will also be the perfect setting for presenting the “Grandi & Vini” Cultural Project, set up in 2019 and every year dedicated to local figures of cultural excellence – local in terms of their birth, not the extent of their fame -, celebrating them with an event and a great wine taken from the Bellazoia Vineyard.

The first edition commemorated Tina Modotti, and in 2020 it was the turn of Pier Paolo Pasolini, while 2021 saw a double edition, celebrating Dora Bassi and Dante Alighieri.

The originality of the project lies in the way it has managed to link leading cultural figures from Friuli to the region’s wine. The aim is to offer Friulans an opportunity to discover or rediscover local geniuses admired around the world, and help Italians in general understand Friuli better.

The unmissable masterclass “Io sono Ribolla Gialla” (“I’m Ribolla Gialla”), dedicated to the native Friulan variety, will be held on Tuesday 12 April at 12 noon. Tasting of Ribolla Gialla spumante Collezione Privata. The event will be held in the new tasting room of ERSA Friuli Venezia Giulia (pavilion 6 stand 6). Tickets for the event can be booked through the regional council.
