Our project

High quality in the shopping trolley

Until recently, speaking about quality wine in supermarkets might have sounded like a contradiction in terms.

Today, consumers are increasingly attentive to what they put in their shopping trolley: consumer tastes have changed and the range available at supermarkets has grown, with medium-high quality wines and Italian and international brands of excellence now on offer.

In the light of this, Valerio Civa decided to establish Azienda Agricola Tenimenti Civa at Bellazoia di Povoletto, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, and to embark on an innovative and unique winemaking project aimed at supermarkets, called “Alta Qualità nel Carrello” (high quality in the shopping trolley).

All the wines are produced using own grapes and those produced by very small growers who work with Tenimenti Civa towards the goals of this high quality winemaking project.
